Gundam 00 Sequel Film Released on August 3

Anime Limited has announced that it will release Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer on August 3. The two-hour film serves as a sequel to the two-season Mobile Suit Gundam 00 television anime, and director Seiji Mizushima returned with his team at Sunrise to make the project. It will be both dubbed and subtitled.
Anime Limited describes the film (spoilers for the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 TV series):
"2314 A.D. The new government of the Earth Sphere Federation is carrying out a program of peaceful reconciliation and preparing for the appearance of the Innovators who will lead the human race into a new era. But the return of a derelict Jupiter exploration ship marks the beginning of an unprecedented crisis. What are the alien entities known as Extraterrestrial Living-metal Shape-shifters? What do they want? And will Setsuna F. Seiei and his fellow Gundam Meisters be able to answer these questions before humanity is wiped out?"
The film will be released as a Collectors Blu-ray, and will include the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Special Edition, a condensed version of the television Mobile Suit Gundam 00. It consists of three 90-minute episodes, entitled "Celestial Being," "End of World" and "Return of World." These episodes are subtitled only.
There will be a general retail version, including seven art cards. In addition, the AllTheAnime website is offering an additional illustrated box that can also include the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Collector's Edition (out of print). This box is limited to 500 units.
As of writing, AllTheAnime is also offering a bundle including the Collector's Editions of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Part 1 and 2 – otherwise out of print – as well as the new release with the exclusive box described above. This bundle is limited to 70 units.
